Charities

In 2005, our Sheffield branches committed to raising £25,000 for their local charity, Help a Hallam Child.

Help A Hallam Child was formed in the 70's and over the years has raised millions to help children who are sick or live in situations of abuse, neglect or deprivation.

The charity is keen to support groups, associations and the health sector, plus other charities and individuals to aim to provide support for children who live within the South Yorkshire and North Midlands area.

Every penny raised is put back into our region - HAHC aims to help as many children as possible, who may be suffering from mental, physical or sensory disorders, have behavioural or psychological problems, living in severe poverty or deprivation or suffering distress, abuse or neglect.

To date, we have raised over £20,000 with events such as golf days, a sponsored slim, various walks and bike rides, as well as a three-peak challenge (in one day), a Christmas card competition and much more.

In 2006, we're aiming to reach our £25,000 goal with lots of new events such as a Christmas dance, a parachute jump (by Andrew Laver), a luxury golfing day and a 'girls''night out'!
