The Galicia is a naturally varied, rustic board with natural knots and cracks to give an authentic look.

Although the boards can be laid as a floating floor, for uneven sub-floors or specific circumstances, a glue-down installation is also perfectly suitable with the Galicia boards.

Galicia Brushed Matt Lacquered flooring boards measure 1900mm in length by 190mm in width, with a thickness of 14mm and a 3mm wear-layer. Each pack has a coverage of 2.88m2. Galicia boards come with a 20-year domestic warranty.

Design

1-Strip, 4-Sided Bevel - The surface layer of all 1-Strip Kährs flooring boards is sawn from a single piece of wood. This allows the natural appearance of the wood to shine through, including knots, colour variations and grain. Bevelling creates a rustic, robust finish - a bevelled edge feature on a 1-strip floor gives a very distinct look.

Flooring Finish

Brushed Matt Lacquered – Brushing the surface emphasises the texture and grain of the wood to create an authentic, natural appearance. Kährs matt lacquer is hardwearing and easy to maintain. With a subtle finish, the final look is similar to untreated, bare wood. The surface will be coarser than a satin finish, allowing the natural colour and tone of the wood to shine through.

Joint Style

Fold-Down Click-Joint – Installation is simple with fold-down click-joint boards. Simply slot neighbouring boards into place for a smooth, ready-to-use floor.
